And with an influx of visitors to Port Macquarie over the holiday period, local police and council are reminding people of alcohol free zones.
Public consumption of alcohol is banned in much of the CBD including the Town Green.
“There are other areas like some of our parks and recreation areas do have limits on alcohol between certain times and that’s to make sure everyone can enjoy the wonderful outdoor lifestyle we enjoy in Port Macquarie,” said Tim Atherton.
