BUDDING SCIENTISTS IMPRESS AT UNE GRASS SCIENCE AWARDS

What chocolates melt quicker, which fertilisers work best and how exercise affects memory – these were just some of the things being investigated today at the University of New England.
In its sixth year, the GRASS Science and Investigation Awards give local high school students the chance to develop experiments and present their findings to scientists of the University.
“The beauty is that these students have designed the investigation they themselves really want to investigate, they then do it and present their findings, but they do it in such a way that they’re following a really nice science method.”
