CENTRAL NORTH VOTES IN FAVOUR OF MERGER

Central North rugby are sweating on the outcome, of a meeting scheduled for tomorrow night, after voting in favour of amalgamating its competition with New England.

While it’s not the first time the idea of merging competitions has surfaced, this year looks to be the strongest chance yet of getting it over the line.

New England committee members will cast their vote tomorrow night in Armidale, in what could be a monumental shift to rugby in the bush.
