FUNDS PLEDGED TO SEAL WILLIEWARINA ROAD
The state government has pledged almost $1.8-million to seal a key freight route south-west of Werris Creek.
Williewarina Road, between Caroona and Pine Ridge, has just 10-kilometres left to tar.
“It opens up the capacity of our farming community and our agricultural industries to produce more and more and to be able to get their product to market,” Michael Johnsen, Member for Upper Hunter.
It’s expected to be completed by the end of next year.
