A man is in Coffs Harbour hospital with multiple stab wounds after being attacked in the city this afternoon.
A man was taken into custody following a pursuit in Elm Street.
Police have established a crime scene in nearby Kurrajong Street, where it’s believed they located a kitchen knife used in the attack.
Late this afternoon police were interviewing several witnesses.
At this stage the condition of the victim is unknown.
