GLEN INNES HOSPITAL UPGRADES COMPLETE

The Glen Innes Hospital has had a much-needed makeover, thanks to half-a-million dollars from the hospital auxillary and the state government.

Televisions have been installed in each room, and patients can now also access the balcony which has been out of action for more than a decade.

Staff will also benefit from the upgrades.

“The upgrade enables us to manage people at the bedside without carting cylinders or suction equipment up and down the corridor,” Cathryn Jones, Health Service Manager, Glen Innes Hospital.
