MOREE POLICE OPERATION TARGETING DRUG AND PROPERTY CRIME
25 infringement notices have been issued, and 32 people searched, during a high visibility operation in the north-west of New South Wales.
Operation Claymore 2 was established in the township of Moree, targeting traffic, drug, and property crime.
Police arrested a number of people for offences including custody of a knife in a public place, possessing a prohibited drug, common assault, and breaching an apprehended violence order.
About 100 people were also dispersed from a party in Sullivan Place, after police responded to reports of a suspected rock throwing incident on the Newell Highway.
