The Archdeacon of the Central Coast has been released from custody after he and four fellow churchleaders chained themselves to the gates of Kirribilli House last night.
The group held up signs in protest over the treatment of refugees on Manus Island…calling for the closure of offshore detention centres.
Father Rod Bower says while they were arrested, no charges have been laid.
