MATILDAS HAND OUT 5-1 BELTING TO CHINA

The Matildas have made it back to back wins against China, claiming this afternoon’s friendly 5-1.

The visitors took an early lead, before Kyah Simon unleashed a stunning strike.

Not to be outdone, Kerr got in on the act, scoring for her country in a record sixth straight game.

Lightning saw play suspended before halftime, and when the players returned, the Matildas struck again.

Emily van Egmond combined with Kerr to make it 4-1, before Chloe Logarzo scored her first goal for Australia.
