Police are appealing for public assistance to identify the people involved in an attack near Lake Macquarie earlier this week.
Just after 8:30pm on Tuesday, a Silver Mazda RX8 crashed into a parked car on Merrigum Street in Windale.
The 51-year-old driver of the Mazda was set upon and assaulted by a group of males when he got out of his car.
He managed to flee the scene and wasn’t injured.
