L-PLATER ALLEGEDLY 70KPH OVER THE LIMIT IN LISMORE SCHOOL ZONE

A Learner motorcyclist has allegedly posted a speed of 110km/h in a 40km/h school zone on the Far North Coast.
At around 9:30am yesterday, police were monitoring vehicle speeds on Hindmarsh Street in Lismore, when they detected the rider.
Police stopped the man, and conducted a roadside breath test, which returned a negative result.
The 18-year-old driver’s licence was suspended, and he was issued with a $2530 infringement notice for exceeding the speed limit in the school zone by more than 45km/h.
