An explosion has rocked a Currumbin Valley wedding venue.
An electrical fire broke out at the Amore’ Gardens Centre just before 10 this morning.
Seconds later, there was a large bang – which turned out to be a septic tank blowing up.
The impact was so strong, windows were shattered and parts of a guest house were sent flying.
“And then of course the flames broke the windows and it was scary. And huge – heaps – lots of blake smoke but I got out early so I didn’t breath that but Gina got a lot of it.”
Two women were taken to hospital with smoke inhalation.
