BARNABY BACKS OUT OF CANDIDATE FORUMS

It’s been confirmed Barnaby Joyce won’t be participating in any candidate forums, ahead of the upcoming New England by-election.

The National Party says it’s due to the large number of candidates that don’t live in the electorate… and that Mr Joyce would rather spend the time chatting to voters, than listening to ‘out-of-towners’.

Pre-polling got underway in Armidale today – Tamworth voters can cast their vote from Thursday.
