A COMFORTABLE WEEKEND IS ON THE WAY FOR MOST

A secondary tropical moisture feed has surged in over Western Australia this is set to produce some rain for the interior.

The first feed has broken up into high cloud across the region.

The large high over the south-east will continue to generate light onshore winds along the coast, with partly cloudy skies and the occasional isolated brief shower.

Some shower activity will linger over the northern NSW and south-east Queensland coasts for the weekend.

It will remain fine for the Mid-North Coast and Greater Hunter, with plenty of warmth and mostly blue skies for the Upper Hunter and North-West.
