DRIVERS TAKEN TO HOSPITAL AFTER CRASH AT CHINDERAH

Two drivers have been taken to hospital, after colliding at Chinderah this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the Tweed Valley Way just before one o’clock, to find one of the cars had ended up in a canefield drain.
They freed the woman behind the wheel by extricating her through the front windscreen.
Both drivers were transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
