MINES RESCUE TEAMS TESTED IN FIRST-AID

10 mines rescue teams from across New South Wales have been put through their paces, in a first-aid emergency response competition.
The scenarios, designed to be as realistic as possible, testing teams on their leadership and communication skills.
“You never know when you’re going to use the first aid training. We have a lot of mines rescue comps but we try to make this one a bit more realistic to what you would do in your everyday life,” said Kristy Prior from Coal Services.
