Witnesses watched in horror this morning as a woman was thrown across the street, after being hit by a car at Mermaid Beach.
The 35 year old was crossing at the lights, when the female driver accidentally hit her.
“Suddenly I heard a bang. Then when I looked I just saw the girl lying over there having like a seizure or something.”
The woman suffered head injuries and was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
