RESCUE SQUAD CALLED IN FOR TRAPPED DOG

Last night, the Central Coast Rescue Squad was called to Buff Point for an usual mission.

It was tasked with rescuing a dog that had its head trapped in the wheel rim of a tyre.

A vet was called in to sedate the distressed animal before crews began cutting through the wheel.

An hour later, the dog was released without injury.
