POLICE RAID CENTRAL COAST PROPERTIES FOLLOWING FATAL ASSAULT
Investigations into the death of a man on the Central Coast earlier this year have escalated, with police today raiding a number of properties and releasing CCTV footage of a group of people who may be able to assist with their inquiries.
Police believe 42-year-old Clint Starkey was assaulted at a service station at Peats Ridge on the 6th of April, before he presented to Gosford Hospital with serious head injuries.
He was later flown to Royal North Shore Hospital in a critical condition, but passed away on the 12th of June.
Just after 6am today, investigations led police to execute search warrants at five properties in the Central Coast area.
CCTV footage of a group of people has also been released, with police hoping that someone might recognise someone by their clothing or mannerisms.
Police say that Mr Starkey’s assault is linked to activities of local outlaw motorcycle gang activity.
