A man in his 70’s has died in a Gold Coast hospital after he was struck by a vehicle yesterday morning.
Police say a vehicle was turning from Albert Avenue into Old Burleigh Road in Broadbeach at around 10am, when the 78-year-old man was hit.
The man sustained a head injury and was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a critical condition, but he passed away yesterday afternoon.
Any witnesses are being urged to contact police.
