Friends have paid tribute to an experienced pilot who perished in a plane crash, south of Port Macquarie late yesterday afternoon.
Businessman Grant Burley and his partner – both aged in their 50s – were killed when the Cessna 310 plummeted into bushland near the Pacific Highway.
Investigators say it could be some time before they have any answers.
