ALLEGED ARMED THIEF CHARGED
A 28-year-old man has been charged, following an armed robbery at a Nemingha service station earlier this year.
Police say two men drove a stolen car from West Tamworth to the Matilda service station on July 13, armed with a crow bar.
It’s alleged they demanded cash from the attendant and also forced open an ATM and stole the cash box.
A 28-year-old man, who was already in police custody for other matters, has now been charged with a string of offences including robbery armed with offensive implement and break and enter.
He’ll face court on Monday.
