CHARGES LAID OVER SERVO HOLD UP FROM JULY
A man will appear in court over the alleged armed robbery of a service station near Tamworth in July.
Two men, in possession of a crow bar, held up a service station on Armidale Road in Nemingha in mid-July.
They allegedly stole cash from staff, before forcing open an ATM and stealing the cash box.
An attendant’s handbag containing keys and cash was also allegedly stolen, before they fled in a vehicle.
Police enquiries led to the arrest of a 28-year-old man just after midday today.
Among other offences, he was charged with robbery armed with an offensive implement, and larceny.
