VANDALS TAKE SECOND SWIPE AT MEMORIAL IN A WEEK

Earlier this week we brought you a story about a grieving family who’s daughters road side memorial had been vandalised for the fifth time in four years.

This morning Hannah McMurtries parents woke to find what was left of the site had been completely destroyed.

It’s the second vandal attack in less than a week at the Gloucester Road site near Wingham.

Flowers were thrown across the road, small statues shattered on the ground while Hannah’s photographs were torn apart.

The family are asking anyone with information to contact local police.
