DE SILVA NAMED PLAYER OF THE ROUND

Mariners’ midfielder Danny De Silva believes the squad was robbed of a win against the Wanderers on Saturday night.

He says the team outperformed Western Sydney, but simple errors were their downfall.

“I think we deserved to win, you know, we had pretty much all the possession, we dominated them in most of the game, we were just unfortunate to finish our chances.”

Despite the draw, De Silva was named A-League Player of the Round, finally converting after two failed attempts.
