UNIQUE PROGRAM FOR ASPIRING INDIGENOUS MEDICOS

The University of Newcastle has produced half of Australia’s indigenous doctors, now it’s continuing efforts to give Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people a greater role in their health.

A unique program, offering indigenous students a pathway to medical school, is gearing up to recruit aspiring doctors – and its biggest fans are the students themselves.
