It’s a predominantly clear nation at the moment. Scattered cloud sits over parts of Queensland stretching back to the west.
A large high will sit over the south-east, forcing the toughs to the north so the rain will spread to Queensland and north-east NSW.
Onshore winds will settle in along the east coast making for partly cloudy skies and a showery weekend.
So the cloud cover along the coast will increase with scattered showers.
Heavy showers and periods of rain will affect south-east Queensland and north-east NSW on Sunday, and on Monday flooding will be possible.
Very little shower activity will make it past the ranges.
