FROM PADDOCK TO PLATE FOR CHARITY
A Central Coast chef is using his culinary skills for a good cause this weekend, donating his time and produce to OzHarvest.
Cameron Cansdell believes in food with a social conscience, after seeing how much waste is left in the industry.
He will whip up a dish on Sunday in Newcastle, with all proceeds going towards the charity’s delivery service.
“I guess with all the talents combined, it makes it a great day and we can do even more as a team, instead of me just stand alone doing what I can, we can all do it together.”
OzHarvest now operates nationally, saving around 1000 tonnes of food every week.
