There’s been another step forward in the redevelopment of Muswellbrook Hospital, with a tender awarded for stage two.
The $21.5-million project will be carried out by Stephen Edwards Constructions, and will see the front of the hospital expanded and refurbished.
Upper Hunter MP Michael Johnsen says it’s a milestone, adding the construction team will be on site from this month.
Work should be complete by mid-2019.
