LISMORE’S LANTERN PARADE GOES VIRTUAL

With the help of technology, Lismore’s Lantern Parade will go ahead next month.

A live-streamed virtual parade, called ‘lightntheheart,’ will be held on June 20.

Organisers are hoping restrictions will be eased enough to have the parade held in November.

The annual event usually attracts more than 30,000 people to the region.
