Thousands of Jehovah’s Witnesses will flock to town over the next fortnight with the annual Conference beginning today in the Country Music Capital.
It’s grown over its almost two decade history, to stretch across two weekends.
The theme of this year’s meet – “Don’t Give Up”.
“When we go out preaching we find a lot of people who suffer from depression and anxiety and find the pressures of life difficult. So there’s different talks, interviews, there’s re-enactments and experiences that all look at how the bible can help.”
It continues until Tuesday and will resume next Friday.
