A substantial amount of federal funding will encourage farmers, fishers and local community groups to farm smarter.
Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce today announcing $134-million over the next 6 years.
It comes under the National Landcare Program and is hoped it will see sustainability of the country strengthened.
“Round here, it’s the development of rust so that we can deal with issues such as black berries, so that we can get a natural pathogen in there to assist us with that.”
