TEENS SURVIVE FRIGHTENING CLIFF PLUNGE

Two teenagers escaped serious injury after their car plunged 20-metres down a cliff on the mid north coast.
The 17-year-old driver and his 16-year-old female passenger were sitting in their 4WD at Second Head Lookout in Forster at around nine-thirty when the accident happened.
It’s understood the driver accidentally put the car into reverse, sending the car crashing through the safety barrier and onto the rocks below.
Both teenagers were able to free themselves from the car.
Paramedics had to climb down the cliff to rescue the the pair.
The teenagers suffered minor cuts and bruises and were taken to Manning Base Hospital as a precaution.
