WARRIORS WIN BATTLE WITH OUTLAWS
Warriors have continued their recent dominance of Tamworth Baseball, winning a sixth premiership in a row over the weekend.
They got off to a flying start, with three runs in the first inning.
By the bottom of the fourth, they’d had 11 batters cross the home plate.
Playing his 30th grand final for the club, pitcher Johnny Warren ensured Armidale struggled to score.
Making their first appearance in the decider in just their second year of existence, the Outlaws fell, 12-3.
