THOUSANDS EXPECTED AT HASLAM MEMORIAL

Thousands are expected to turn out in Tamworth tomorrow to say a final farewell to medicinal cannabis campaigner Dan Haslam.
The 25-year-old sadly lost his battle with bowel cancer last Tuesday.
Dan and his family made national headlines in April last year, when it was revealed he used cannabis as a way to alleviate chemotherapy symptoms.
Their campaign was the catalyst for the announcement of a clinical trial of medicinal cannabis by the New South Wales government in September.
The public memorial service will begin at 2 o’clock tomorrow afternoon at Tangaratta vineyards.
