A woman has been killed after the car she was driving veered off an overpass and landed on railway lines in the Upper Hunter.
Police say the accident occured just after 4pm yesterday on the New England Highway at Wingen, about 20 kilometers north of Scone.
Emergency services attended but the driver, a woman believed to be in her late 60s, died at the scene.
