A man has been hospitalised after being struck with a glass in Lake Macquarie overnight.
Police say an argument broke out between a group of men at a tavern on Wilsons Road in Mount Hutton, at around 11:30pm yesterday.
A 19-year-old man was struck with a glass before a brawl erupted.
He was taken to John Hunter Hospital, suffering head and facial injuries.
A 24-year-old man was arrested and later charged with reckless wounding and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
He will appear at Belmont Local Court next month.
