The Fitzroy Street upgrades hit another milestone in Tamworth this morning, with the pouring of over 70 cubic metres of concrete.
It may not look too exciting yet, but once finished the street will feature a plaza area, with parking, wifi a water re-fill station and Chinese Elm trees.
Council says the project is on track and on budget, with work due to be completed well before the Country Music Festival.
