KNIGHTS NSW CUP SIDE KNOCKED OUT OF THE FINALS

The season is officially over for the Newcastle Knights, with their New South Wales Cup side losing to the Warriors in last night’s semi-final.
Despite question marks over the opening try, New Zealand took a 12-nil lead into the break.
The Warriors’ dominance continued in the second half, with the side going on to win 30 to six.
The one bright spot for Newcastle came in the 76th minute, when Curtis Naughton scored on debut.
