ARC ADMINISTRATOR POPULAR WITH ARMIDALE VOTERS

Independent candidates have, so far, dominated Armidale’s council election.
Armidale Regional Council’s current administrator and former mayor of Maclean and the Clarence Valley – Dr Ian Tiley has led the charge, securing most of the votes.
He’s been closely followed by Jon Galletly and former deputy mayor of Guyra Shire Council – Simon Murray.
Former Armidale-Dumaresq mayor Herman Beyersdorf hasn’t been so popular with voters – he’s unlikely to be re-elected.
