A woman who was fighting for life after being struck by a car at Wickham yesterday is in a stable condition in John Hunter Hospital.
The 33-year-old was walking along Railway Street when she was hit, at around 12:30pm.
Police say a 42-year-old man was behind the wheel, and had three children in the vehicle.
