180 MILLION CONTAINERS RETURNED ON CENTRAL COAST

Nearly 180 million drink containers have been cashed in through the Return and Earn scheme on the Central Coast since it launched three years ago.

Across the region’s 19 collection points – the drive-through depot at West Gosford has proven to be the most popular – surpassing 19 million returns.

More than 16 million units have been collected in Bateau Bay, and a further 11 million in Lisarow.
