MARSHALL TO MEET WITH NSW POLICE COMMISSIONER

Meanwhile the Member for Northern Tablelands says Inverell’s police station could also be in line for a major upgrade, sooner rather than later.
Adam Marshall has confirmed he will travel to Sydney next month with Mayor Paul Harmon, to meet with New South Wales Police Commissioner Mick Fuller.
Plans for a 24-hour station have been on the table for a number of years.
Last year police minister Troy Grant toured the facility, but no firm commitment has been made.
The station was built in the 1960s to cater for 14 officers, but it now houses around 50 police.
