It’s not every day you get to jump in a police car or fire truck, but some lucky children got to do just that in Port Macquarie.
It was part of a child safety education day at St Columba Anglican School.
“They’re learning about their bodies, and about how bodies can tell them if they’re having a yes or no feeling, and learning that if they’re ever feeling unsafe – that they can run and tell someone – and that’s a really big thing for them to learn,” Bravehearts’ Leanne Rotherham said.
The visit comes ahead of Bravehearts’ White Balloon Day next week.
