A 73-year-old female cyclist is in a critical condition, following a collision with a b-double truck in Westdale this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the Oxley Highway, near Timbumburi Creek shortly before one-thirty.
The woman was taken to Tamworth Hospital with serious head injuries, as well as suspected arm and pelvic injuries.
The highway was closed, while crash investigators examined the scene.
