Firefighters were quick to extinguish a kitchen fire at a Hunter hotel today.
Emergency services were called to Heatherbrae at around 11:30, amid reports a restaurant was alight at the Sir Francis Drake Inn.
The flames were contained to the kitchen, which was severely damaged.
At this stage, it’s not known what caused the blaze.
