NEW SPONSOR AND RENEWED CONFIDENCE FOR CHARLOTTE POYNTING

The Hunter’s Charlotte Poynting will look to get her Aussie Racing Cars campaign back on track in Sydney this weekend, following two identical crashes in Townsville.
“We ended up with quite a bit of damage, it’s only been fixed this week. There’s been a lot of late nights. The whole front end had to be completely repaired. It was a big job.”
Despite the incidents, Poynting still leads the women’s championship… and says she’s improving behind the wheel.
“I think my confidence was still there, it was all still fine, if anything the crash has probably made me more confident because I didn’t end up hurt.”
