LAST ‘TEA PARTY’ FOR MORPETH

After nearly 30 years, Morpeth’s much-loved Teapot Festival is preparing for its final ‘tea party’.
From tomorrow, Morpeth Gallery will feature more than a thousand quirky cosies and novelty pots over 11 days… one last time.
“Because now the antique centre has taken over here we’re running out of room, with as many tea cosies and as many teapots to display we just don’t have the room to do that anymore,” event coordinator Kylie Richards says.
Also featured – hand-crafted teapots by students from Warners Bay High.
