CALROSSY GOES GREEN

Calrossy Anglican School is doing its bit to make students look after their environment.
Refillable water stations have been installed at the girls and boys campuses to promote recycling.
Students have also been supplied with their own re-usable drink bottles, in place of the plastic ones that were handed out daily.
“That was 200 water bottles that were going into waste, you know, nearly every day, and that’s not counting the day girls who also share in our lunches.”
The initiative was driven by students in the Enviro Club.
“It was just getting ridiculous, all the plastic water bottles that were around, like they’d just be, even in the bins, like nobody was using the recycling bins and they’d just be everywhere.”
