Community consultation is being sought on moves to improve some of Maitland’s greatest assets.
Draft plans to upgrade Queens Wharf at Morpeth, and the Lorn riverbank are now on public exhibition.
“They’ll be expanded recreational sites, lots more opportunity to get down onto the water, over at queens wharf looking at boat ramps, jetties, walking paths, picnic tables,” Leah Flint from Maitland City Council says.
The public has until September 22 to review the plans, and provide feedback.
